We are starting humanitary action “A HEART FOR MILOŠ´s SMILE” with the hope that you will be able to meet this request and help our young colleague.
Dr. Miloš Nikolić was born on September 13th 1985 in Leskovac, Serbia. He finished his PhD on September 29th 2015. Since September 1st 2009 he is a member of the Department of Plant Physiology, Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković”, University of Belgrade. The election for Research Fellow position is currently in procedure. His career is characterized by high scientific criteria, as well as high moral and ethical principles. Reference list of Dr. Miloš Nikolić includes 50 bibliographic units, with a total IF = 53.028. Scientific papers are highly cited (h index 5). Miloš was an active and successfull basketball player. He is a person of warm and carying personality, always smiling, popular among his friends and colleagues.
Miloš got seriously sick few years ago, with the following diagnoses: Insufficientia cordis – 150, Cardiomyopathia congestive – 142, Fibrillatio et fluctuatie atriorum – 148, Block fasciculi sinistri, non specificatus – 144.7. Based on the doctor´s opinion he will be hospitaled on Novemeber 30th 2015. Doctors will made a new attempt of conversion to the sinus rhythm, spiroergometry and Swan-Ganz catheterization. However, based on the previous results of the medical analyzes, and due to the rapid deterioration of Miloš’s health condition, a heart transplantation is hightly recommended as the only core solution.

Taking into account the urgency of the Miloš’s situation, and high medical expenses required for the preparation and logistics of the surgery, we are starting humanitary action in order to collect funds for his treatment.
