Abstract - A new cave-dwelling species of pseudoscorpion belonging to the family Neobisiidae – Neobisium rajkodimitrijevici n. sp. – is described from the Rajkova Pećina Cave near Majdanpek in Eastern Serbia. A diagnosis of the new species is presented. This taxon is a relict and endemic to the area studied. Additionally, some taxonomic, biogeographical, and phoretic traits of the new species are discussed in the light of evolution of the karst relief of the Balkan Peninsula.
